Fargo has been asked by his “niece” Jennifer to find her husband, whom she fears will be implicated in the death of her real uncle. The task would be easy if Fargo didn’t have run-ins with a right-wing egomaniac or a poet hit man who wants our hero dead, but that’s Fargo’s life. In lesser hands, this stew would have been too much to handle. Hall makes it very believable, however, and — more importantly — fun. The author loves his characters, and he excels at making the unexpected seem commonplace. With this captivating book he has assured readers that anything he writes in the future will be well worth reading. One only hopes that Fargo will make another appearance at some point down the road because this character is too good to let go."
